High accuracy GPS and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) can be used in Real Estate in many ways. While surveyors can tell you where the property boundaries are, GIS can tell you more about what's on the property and how the property is situated in relation to the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Quick Property Measurements
Quick and accurate property measurements can be made using high accuracy GPS units. For instance, we can measure areas so an agent can tell a customer the exact area of the lawn or a wooded area. Even complex areas can be quickly measured with a high degree of accuracy at a low cost.
Neighborhood Maps
While surveyors can tell you where the property boundaries are, GIS can tell you more about what's on the property and how the property is situated in relation to the neighborhood including how far are the closest services are such as schools, police station and fire station.
Aerial Imagery
